Cedar Point Kayaking Adventure – April 27, 2025

by Amusement Buzz

For my first blog adventure, I went kayaking near Cedar Point’s coast. I’ve been sharing posts on social media, mainly on X, as Amusement Buzz for a while, but now I want to share adventures on my website too. I’ve kayaked this route a few times, including during the eclipse on April 8, 2024. Enjoy the adventure!

Our journey begins at the Pipe Creek Canoe Launch on the morning of April 27, 2025. It was a gorgeous day to be outside!

Kayaking through the Pipe Creek Wilderness area takes some time, but with an average kayaker speed of about 3 mph, it’s not too lengthy. This photo shows the approach to the marina, which usually has fewer docks.

After roughly an hour of paddling, I reached Millennium Force! Top Thrill 2 was being tested that day, preparing for the park’s opening on May 3, 2025.

I spent time hanging out off the coast listening to the roller coasters testing. Top Thrill 2 was running very consistently!

Work (or possibly inspections) was being done on Millennium Force.

Top Thrill 2 looks beautiful off the coast of the park!

The only way to truly appreciate Millennium Force’s lift hill is to see it from the water! I watched as the lift hill elevator was descending.

I decided to send my drone up for a few minutes to get some shots of the park! The Cedar Point skyline is truly a magnificent sight to see from the air!

A quick look over to the Siren’s Curse area. You can see the road is realigned and the buildings are being worked on before the ride opens later this season!

Top Thrill 2 towers over everything in the park!

A couple more shots before I landed the drone. As you can see none of my shots are over the park. Remember never to fly over the park!

Videos I took while out on the water!

Quick stop to take a pic with the marina sign!

A view from the entrance to the Cedar Point marina. I would suggest not sitting there forever if there’s a lot of boat traffic or you’ll make people mad that you’re in the way! Haha!

Closer look at Siren’s Curse from the marina entrance.

Don’t all the other roller coasters look so tiny next to Top Thrill 2?

Back at the dock and very tired… what a fun trip!

Relaxing off the park’s coast, floating on the water, is incredibly calming and highly recommended if you have the time! The parasailing and jet ski spot at Cedar Point by the lake is a great option, though I haven’t tried their services. Thanks for joining the adventure!
